Our Detroit Red Beets are grown, prepared and packaged at Hickok Farms with care. We methodically time our harvests, then wash and prepare beets. Beets are then cooked in sous-vide bath to ensure quality and consistency. Unlike other pre-cooked beets, we do not peel our beets. Beet skin is easy to remove, if you prefer to remove them, although you’ll miss out on some great antioxidants, potassium, and vitamin C.
